Registration Info
It's
possible to make a reservation with CGI either by phone or
email. Once you have confirmed a reservation with us, you may download
and print our registration and waiver forms (if you have a printer).
Reading and filling these out in advance will help speed things up on
the day you go climbing with us. Please make sure you fully read and
understand the waiver and please list any significant medical conditions
or medications you are taking on the registration form. If you don't
have a printer, you can take care of the paperwork first thing in the
morning when you meet with your guide. Also, please fill out the online
registration form. The information on this form will help us to
better prepare for your day of climbing or skiing with us. You may contact

The earlier you can schedule a reservation, the better your chances will be of obtaining the date or dates you want. Weekends in the busy summer and winter months can fill up quite early. If we are guiding, the office is typically not staffed so please just leave a message or send us an email and we will get back to you as quickly as we can. Normally we will get in touch the same day we receive your message or email.
Payments
A
$50.00 dollar deposit is required to confirm most bookings. The balance
may be paid when you meet your guide. We can accept payment either in
cash or by check. Sorry, no credit cards accepted at this time. If you
are participating in one of our overseas ski tours or another lengthy
program, a larger deposit will be required.
Cancellations
Please
let us know as soon as possible if you must cancel your day with us.
Your deposit will be held as credit for a future reservation if cancellation
is received two weeks in advance. No credit will be given for a "no
show". Cancellations due to weather or conditions will get credit or
a full refund.
Gear
Summer-
bring clothing appropriate for the weather, light weight shoes (sneakers
are good, no sandals) a small day pack, water, and a small lunch or
snacks. Depending on conditions, you may want to bring sun protection
or bug repellent. Definitely bring a camera if you have one.
Winter- for most of our winter courses, take a look at our winter

Technical and group gear- all technical and group gear is provided
by CGI. This includes avalanche transceivers, probes, and shovels
whenever we travel into avalanche terrain. Rock shoes and double boots
are provided if you don't have them. All gear is included in the price
of the course.

Meeting
time and place will be confirmed either by phone or email. We usually
meet at Ragged Mountain Equipment no later than 8:30. Go here
