Marc
Chauvin is an Internationally Certified Mountain Guide living
in the Mount Washington Valley of New Hampshire. To acquire
that certification Marc had to take extensive courses and
exams in Rock, Alpine and Ski Mountaineering through the through
the American Mountain Guides Association.
Marc's philosophy on teaching
and guiding technical terrain is to teach individuals privately
or small groups of people who know each other. This is the
way recreational climbers climb and allows you to train in
a realistic way. The goal is to teach you how to climb by
creating as similar a situation as you will find when climbing
recreationally.
Most people find this style
of learning to be more efficient and comfortable because you
move at your own pace without feeling the stress to perform
or of being held back by others in a group. It also allows
you to do longer routes of appropriate difficulty giving you
the true experience of climbing in a dramatic and fun setting.
Contact Marc to talk to him
about your plans and goals to set up a truly fun and rewarding
climbing experience.
